Sarah Vasile is a Los Angeles-based journalist interested in digital media, television production and audience engagement. Currently, she serves as an associate editor at Sports Illustrated.
Sarah is a 2018 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where she majored in journalism and minored in digital media trends/analytics. She spent a lot of time working for independent student media outlet The Daily Collegian, serving as everything from copy desk chief to social media manager. The summer after her junior year she interned in Pittsburgh, where she worked as a universal desk editor/designer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (and walked across a lot of bridges).
After graduation, Sarah stayed in her beloved Pennsylvania and worked as an editor/designer at The Altoona Mirror before heading to New York City and working as a production coordinator and digital producer for "New York's Very Own" PIX11 News.
